Reports To:

The Audit and Advisory Associate reports to the Managing Director.

Job Overview:

The Audit and Advisory associate is responsible for conducting field audit and verify the accuracy of entries made on various books of accounts by the accounting and compliance group.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the Audit and Advisory Associate may vary depending on the needs of the clients:

1. Conduct field audit.
2. Verify the accuracy of entries made on various books of accounts by the accounting and compliance group.
3. Monitors the accuracy and completeness of data received from the accounting group for journalizing, recording and posting.
4. Verification and Reconciliation of transactions based on supporting documents and other reports submitted.
5. Initial review of financial reporting systems and policies to ensure that accounting reports are accurate and complete.
6. Review clients’ compliance with local government requirements (business permits etc.)
7. Prepare summary of initial audit findings for review
8. Discuss financial audit findings and recommendations with concerned management and agree on action plans to resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Financial management or equivalent
• Preferably with 1 year experience
• Willing to work occasionally on field or clients’ offices, which are located within and outside Cavite.
• Knowledge of audit and accounting principles, laws and regulations
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas)
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, attention to detail and accuracy
